Z-II Series

The amp that started it all, renewed — Class A/B and Class D with audiophile caps and op-amps.

In 2012 Zapco introduced the Z-Series of SQ amps, conceived not so much by engineers as by audiophiles and car-sound fanatics around the world who had been modifying Zapco amplifiers internally to achieve better sound. The Z-Series was the result of that unique development method.

The Z-II brings the Z-Series into a new era: a new TI op-amp for a lower noise floor and better signal-to-noise, audiophile-grade capacitors from the LX and SP amps, a beefed-up power supply with more storage and lower inductance, improved Tiffany-style RCA connectors, recessed end plates, and metal pots with 40-position detents for accurate multi-amp gain matching.
